Summary
Carrare white marble, Possibly Horatia Feilding (1810 - 1851) by Lawrence MacDonald (Gask, Tayside 1799 - Rome 1878), inscribed 'Roma' and dated '1845'. Victorian white statuary carrara marble bust portrait of a young lady, on matching socle. Possibly Horatia Fielding, who was the daughter of Admiral Charles Feilding (1780 - 1837) and Lady Elizabeth Fox-Strangways (1773 - 1846) whom he had married as her second husband.

Purchased with the family collection of Abbey contents in situ from Mrs Petronella Burnett-Brown December 2009.
