Summary
A rocking horse on a bow rocker base, carved wood painted white, with animal hair or wool mane and tail, a red leather saddle and side saddle supports and brown leather reins, the base painted green, a piece of velvet mounted at its centre, late Georgian or early Victorian.

The rocking horse was owned by William Henry Fox Talbot (1800-77) and his children and was called 'Firefoot'.
