Collection of archive documents relating to Thomas Chippendale (1718-1779) and work his firm undertook for Sir Rowland Winn, 5th brt (1739-1785) and his wife Sabine Winn (1734-1798) at Nostell and the Winns house in St James Square, London. Comprises letters (1766 to 1781), lists, estimates and receipts (1767-1772) and bills (1766-1770).

Provenance
Acquired by Sir Rowland Winn, 5th Baronet (1739 - 1785) and thence by descent. Purchased as part of a collection of furniture and associated archive material by the National Trust in 1986 from the trustees of Rowland Winn, 4th Baron St Oswald (1918-1984), supported by a grant from the National Heritage Memorial Fund. Deposited with the West Yorkshire Record Office in 1988 and catalogued as part of the wider Nostell/Winn family archive acquired by them in 2000 (see WYW 1352/3/3/1/5/3/1-62)
