Summary
A small mahogany Pembroke table, English, circa 1760, the rectangular top with twin drop-leaves, above a cockbeaded end frieze drawer with a gilt brass axe-head handle, the slightly tapering square-section legs united by a re-shaped 'X'-shaped stretcher and headed by pierced spandrels.

Purchased by the National Trust by private treaty sale from Lord St Oswald in 2010.
