Summary
A George III silver inkstand, with the maker's mark of Cripps, London 1769. Oblong on four paw feet, with pendant husk garlands and central patarae, with two pen trays each with foliage-wrapped reeding and rocaille band, the centre engraved with four coats-of-arms and fitted with five detachable vase shaped containers (NOS/S/6.2 - NOS/S/6.5), the arms are of Winn, Harbord, Henshaw and Hervert.
