Summary
A Venice (Cozzi factory) two-handled oval tureen with domed cover, hard-paste porcelain painted woth exotic birds amongst peony and other flowers issuing from rockwork, with ball handle to cover painted with a flower, circa 1770-75, and made as a copy of NOS/C/37.1, possibly as a replacement for part of a Chinese export service.
