Summary
One of a pair of Louis XV tole-peinte and blanc-de-chine porcelain candelabra, each with a seated Bhuddistic lion surrounded by foliate branches incorporating two ormolu nozzles and formerly mounted with soft paste flowerheads on foliate bases The Blanc de chine ormolu-mounted and tole peint candelabra appear in a c.1870 photograph of Saloon at Nostell Priory.
