Summary

Manuscript book with British historical legal chronology. Entries at intervals through the volume for the monarchs of England and Wales, and Great Britain, from 'William ye Conqueror' to 'George ye Second'. (Henry III out of sequence at rear; loose blotter sheet inserted at Richard I.) Several of these sections have entries, including dates of significant Acts and other legal notes of the respective reign. Undated; presumably before 1760. (The dating and hand suggest it could have been a notebook used by young George Harry Grey, 5th Earl of Stamford (1737-1819). Formerly Family Flat (DUN/F/736), box 4/4
