Summary
Envelope containing 12 press cuttings and one extended journal supplement (on separate record). Envelope inscribed in blue pencil 'Sanitary Institute' inscribed above in hand of Lady Stamford "No use"; inscribed at foot of envelope "C.J. Vaughan" although the contents clearly post-date him. The cuttings concern the Earl of Stamford's work on sanitation issues, and in particular, his Presidential address to the annual congress of the Sanitary Institute, in Bradford, July 1903.
