Summary

Press cutting: a poem entitled 'Outward bound. (By an Officer who has since fallen in Gallipoli.) With inscribed source: Times, Aug 27, 1915. Poem expresses a longing for the poet's Cumberland home while in the midst of the Dardanelles Campaign of World War One. From Lady Stamford's Bureau, top of bureau on felt.
