Summary

Press cutting, in two pieces, from unknown source [perhaps Daily Telegraph, a sponsor of the event], headed 'French heroines of the War. Mansion House reception.' On a presentation to four French women for their bravery, in sheltering British soldiers during World War, 1914-1918. Includes article and group portrait photograph. The reception took place 8th April, 1927. From items found Family Flat chest of drawers, east wall, 3rd drawer down
