A printed letter to "Friends" from the Bishop of the Diocese of Gambia and the Rio Pongas; three copies; with the accompanying envelope. The envelope is addressed to the Countess of Stamford, Dunham Massey Hall, … ; annotated in her hand 'Gambia Pongas'; postmarked: Pontefract, Yorkshire 3 Mch 1945; with 1d George VI postage stamp. Among items from Family Flat in card box lid labelled "Programme blanks Dunham Massey."
