Summary

Brown envelope with manuscript address to: The Countess of Stamford, Dunham Massey Hall, Altrincham; with added note in red pencil: The Gambia Pongas Nov /44. Postmarked: Chester 29 Apr 1944; 1d George VI stamp. The envelope is torn and fragile, but formerly contained, and is associated with, issues of the Gambia Pongas magazine, issues 1942-1944. Also among items from Family Flat in card box lid "Programme blanks Dunham Massey."
