Autograph notice signed 'Warrington' [i.e George Booth, 2nd Earl of Warrington (1675-1758)], headed 'Dunham 8th Octr. 1745.' Entitled on reverse 'Notice [subscribed?] by Lord Warrington for raising men [agst?] the rebells'. With figure also entered on reverse of costs. In response to the Earl of Cholmondsley's commission during the Jacobite rising of 1745.
