Summary

Account book for Alfred Starley, fishmonger, poulterer and ice merchant, … Mayfair, W. Accounts made out in manuscript to the Countess of Stamford, irregularly from 1924 to 1938. Bound in red cloth, gold lettered, window in upper board for account holder. Pencil manuscript accounts at rear, headed 'Bollington, and dated from July /36. Some pages torn out.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
