Summary
Foil-lined wooden tea box with sliding lid on which 'For Christmas' is handwritten in pencil; a pencil handwritten note 'His Lordship / started this tea / Aug 22nd 1933' and the remains of a tea merchants label for '...ND STIMSON & CO., / .... / .... TOWER HILL, / .... LONDON...' can be found on the body. The box contains an early twentieth century Selfridges cardboard Christmas toadstool (a)covered in cotton wool and containing treats (b).
