One of two pieces of paper cut from envelopes, each with a stamp: (a) addressed to 'The Right. Hon. / The Countess of Stamford' and with a London postmark, 11 Jul. 21. Handwritten in pencil on the reverse is 'Roger's / Ice Buckets 1807 / from J Parr / Soup Tureen 1809'.
