Summary
Two pieces of paper cut from envelopes, each with a stamp: (a) addressed to 'The Right. Hon. / The Countess of Stamford' and with a London postmark, 11. Jul. 21. Handwritten in pencil on the reverse is 'Roger's / Ice Buckets 1807 / from J Parr / Soup Tureen 1809'; (b) with a Knutsford postmark and with the handwritten pencil note, 'Mr. Wilson 21 July 1921' followed by a list of various silver items including: 'Silver & Gold Alms dish 1706 / Candlesticks in Chapel 1716 / Bread basket 1771 / Sugar sifters 1717 / Tray William IV £50 / Silver, [set of 3] 1772'.
