Summary
Single oak (?) bedstead with: (a) two round foot posts, each with metal top spike and square base topped by a small decoratively shaped section; (b) two square, tapering head posts with metal top spike, hooks on which to hand curtain rods and tack marks where textiles would have been attached; (c) two plain end rails, each with rebated top edge; (.i) has a short length of canvas attached with rope holes along the loose long edge; (.ii) has a long length of canvas attached with rope holes down each side and with the rope present; (d) rectangular pine headboard made up of three planks. Both (a.ii) and (b.i) have a section cut out at the base to abutt/overlap skirting.
