Summary
Two wooden-framed box mattresses, (a) large, (b) small, with metal springs and covered in a thick cotton with blue, black and white stripes on a cream ground (plain on the base). Both mattresses consist of three separate sections, one large and two small, tied together with rope through metal reinforced eyelets in the fabric at the top, such that they can fold together when not in use. From Heal & Son, 195, 196, 197 & 198 Tottenham Court Rd. London.
