Summary
One of a pair of plain oak side rails, each with rebated top edge to which is tacked a short length of canvas with rope holes along the long, loose edge. The canvas runs along 6/7's of the length of the rail, the remaining exposed 1/7 end has a slot cut-out which neither runs to the end of the rail nor is cut right through the rail. There is a bolt hole at each end of each rail (only one bolt present on each rail).
