Summary
Large headboard consisting of a softwood (?) frame with curved top edge, webbing strips and covered in textile, canvas and probably linen, tacked to both sides of the frame. The textile is now extremely dirty and fragile and has come away from the metal tacks. 'Lord Stamford' is handwritten on one side of the frame in large chalk letters and on the other side of the frame in pencil.
