Summary
(a) pair of heavily turned oak bed posts, each with metal top spike, and square section just under half way down, incorporating single bolt holes in which to bolt the end and side rails, the bolt holes covered by hinged pressed brass rosettes ([a.i] one rosette missing, [a.ii] both rosettes missing) and on tall, cylindrical feet. (b) plain red-stained end rail, possibly softwood.
