Summary
One of two oak bed posts, both bent: (a) plain, square, tapering head post with additional pine fillet for retaining a headboard, octagonal base, single bolt holes to receive end/side rails with one bolt at each end, tacks along the length of an outside edge and metal hook at the top. The very top of the post has been spliced on and there are colour differences along the length of the post where stain has been missed; (b) plain, tapering, very bent foot post, which can either be described as octagonal or square with bevelled edges, with a square section at the point at which the end and side rails are bolted to the post, to receive end/side rails with one bolt at each end.
