Summary
Large, almost square, linen-backed paper map (unvarnished), black and white. 'To the Right Honorable Edward, Earl of Powis, Lord Lieutenant and Custos Rotulorum of the Counties of Salop and Montgomery. This map is humbly dedicated by his Lordship's obliged and obedient servant Robert Baugh'. The dedication is in the top right corner, 'explanation' in the bottom right corner and the scale in the bottom left corner. The map is attached to a moulded wood baton at the top with pink/red hanging string, and is attached at the bottom to a wood roller with decorative finials.
