Summary
Bottle of Iodex (pain relief ointment) from manufacturing chemist Menley & James Ltd., and supplied by W.F. Downes M.P.S., Dispensing Chemist and Pharmacist, Broadheath, Altrincham; small, squat, round glass bottle with wide metal screw cap and red and white label; the main label, on which is handwritten (in black ink) 'The Ointment / Lord Stamford', is cream with black print. Contained in a small, square, red and white cardboard box (b).
