Summary
Wicker picnic basket with one handle detached and lid hinged at back, the interior divided into compartments and with leather straps and buckle to hold items in place inside the lid; contains: six metal half pint cups (b); six small metal cups (c); two metal cups in woven straw holders (d); white ceramic sandwich box with metal lid (e); three condiment pots including a glass pot with metal lid, a glass pepper pot with metal perforated top and a brown pottery salt cellar with stopper (f); small cardboard cylindrical pot with lid (the top loose), possibly to hold the six small metal cups, dated 1928 (g); knife and fork with wooden handles (h); two fiddle pattern forks stamped 'WH' and two bone/ivory-handled knives by John Bagshawe & Son, Church Street, Liverpool (i); two enamelled metal side plates (j).
