George II silver two-handled bowl by Isaac Liger, London, 1728; circular and with a flaring rim, applied with two scroll handles, engraved with the cypher of George Booth, 2nd Earl of Warrington, below an earl's coronet, marked on one side.

Originally owned by George Booth, 2nd Earl of Warrington (1675-1758), and then by descent to Catherine, Lady Grey, and Sir John Foley-Grey; Christie's, London, 20th April 1921, lot 158; purchased by the National Trust, Christies, 12th June 2007.
