Summary
George II silver waiter by Edward Feline, London, 1746. Oblong waiter on four claw-and-ball feet, and with reeded rim and pierced fruiting grapevine border; engraved with the Booth arms for George Booth, 2nd Earl of Warrington.
Provenance
Originally owned by George Booth, 2nd Earl of Warrington (1675-1758), possibly a gift from his daughter and son-in-law, and then by descent to Catherine, Lady Grey, and Sir John Foley-Grey; Christie's, London, 20th April 1921, lot 100 (part); purchased by the National Trust, Christies, 12th June 2007.
