Summary
One of two silver waiters by Peter Archambo, 1731/32. 'The shaped circular waiters with their six scalloped Bath borders are raised and their moulded rims applied. The three scrolled feet of each are cast. The centres are engraved with the shield of arms, supporters, motto and an earl's coronet for George Booth, 2nd Earl of Warrington' (Lomax and Rothwell, 'Country House Silver from Dunham Massey', 2006, pp.88).
Provenance
Previously on loan to the National Trust by the Rt Hon. Lord Deramore, and became the property of the National Trust after his death in 2006.
