Summary
One of two small oval plates, part of a semi-porcelain part dinner service by Henry Alcock & Co., Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent. Shaped edges with embossed scroll leaf decoration, grey/blue/green flower and leaf decoration and gilt highlights. Part service consists of two plates, ten soup bowls, two ladles, two small oval plates, four rectangular plates, a larger oval plate and four tureens with covers.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
