Summary
Lid to sauceboat, DUN/C/596.7.1, embossed rope and ribbon pattern around outer edge, handle (broken off and missing) would have been incorporated into embossed rope and ribbon pattern in centre, cut-out for spoon, chipped and cracked; part of a dinner service produced by Powell, Bishop and Stonier (P.B.&S.), 'Wild Rose'. Blue/black transfer print on white/cream with a large design of wild rose, a bird and ribbon.
