Summary
Dinner service produced by Powell, Bishop and Stonier (P.B.&S.), 'Wild Rose'. Blue/black transfer print on white/cream with a large design of wild rose, a bird and ribbon; each piece features a scalloped edge and embossed rope and ribbon design around rim. Service consists of two large oval plates and three smaller oval plates, a tureen with lid, a second tureen lid, a sauce boat with lid, thirteen large plates, fourteen smaller plates and four soup bowls.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
