Summary
Cream butter dish and lid (a.2), shaped edge to dish and raised lines in base, lid higher at one end than the other with hole beneath handle, handle with gilt decoration, part of a set with a bowl (b), both marked 'Ivory England', with decoration of a band of orange, blue and yellow flowers, green leaves and black scroll decoration, edged with, and with a background of, matt gold.
