Summary
Butter dish and bowl marked 'Ivory England': (a) cream butter dish and lid, shaped edge to dish and raised lines in base, lid higher at one end than the other with hole beneath handle, handle with gilt decoration; (b) circular bowl; both decorated with a band of orange, blue and yellow flowers, green leaves and black scroll decoration, edged with, and with a background of, matt gold.
