Summary
A George II two handled silver cup on spreading base, the lower part of the body applied with vertical shaped straps chased with scrolls, rosettes and husks on matted ground, with double scroll handles, the domed cover similarly applied and with large baluster finial, engraved with a coat-of-arms, by John Jacob, 1736.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Government in lieu of inheritance tax and allocated to the National Trust for display at Dunham Massey, 2008.
