Summary
Two turned mahogany foot posts, one marked 'Atherton' (believed to be .ii), moulding around the base, top spike, and castors, .ii incised 'VI' and 'VIII'. Part of a single fourposter bed. Bevelled panels cover bolt holes on the outer-facing sides.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
