Summary
A George III marquetry bonheur du jour cabinet in the Louis XV style, the cabinet back with open section for books in the centre flanked by cupboards and small drawer, the lower part with folding top forming a writing slide and a drawer at each end, on square cabriole legs, inlaid with flower sprays in various woods on a hardwood ground and enriched with chased ormolu plaques to the knees and toes.
