Summary
Tureen, oval. Furstenberg. Porcelain in enamel colours with panels of flowers, with raised white scrolls, separated by panels of imbrication (roof tile) or fish scale pattern. Standing on 4 short green leaf-shaped feet. The two handles with central medallion painted with a small flower. Plain gilt edges. Cover decoration with similar design surmounted by a yellow lemon on a stalk with two leaves, fish scale pattern, gilt rim. Marked F in underglaze blue. German 2nd half C18. One of a pair.
Provenance
Part of the Hyde Parker Collection. The hall and part of the collection were Accepted in Lieu and transferred by the Treasury to the National Trust in 1960
