Summary
Circular plate. Furstenberg part dinner service. 1770-1775. Hard-paste porcelain, moulded with neuozier pattern with deutsches Blumen (German flowers). Furstenberg, Brunswick. Porcelain in enamel colours, waved gilt edge, large central spray of flowers in orange, yellow and mauve. Raised white scrolls. Similar sprays around rim, interspaced with panels in imbrication (roof tile) or fish scale pattern. Marked 'F' in underglaze blue, scratch mark '4 G3 B'. One of six.
Provenance
Part of the Hyde Parker Collection. The hall and part of the collection were Accepted in Lieu and transferred by the Treasury to the National Trust in 1960
