Summary
One of a pair of satinwood, painted and parcel-gilt demi-lune side or pier tables, English, circa 1790, in the manner of Robert Adam, each satinwood top within a wide sycamore border crossbanded with rosewood, the frieze decorated with rosettes to the centre and lozenges alternating with wheatsheaves to the sides, on tapering fluted and leaf-clasped legs headed with paterae, one with paper label S.38 A, the other S.38 B.
