Summary
One of 4 ceramic (white earthware) name-plates, once used in the Wine Celler; MAHON. Rectangular with pierced arch top, plain black bold capital lettering on white ground with clear glaze - shape; round corners. Note; Name-plate fitted with a wire hanging loop.
Provenance
This item forms part of the original Drewe family collection at Castle Drogo. It was transferred to the National Trust in 2008.
