Summary
A black and white photograph of the tanker, "D.H. Harper", which went on to the rocks close to the Lizard, 20 June 1935. The rocks in the foreground almost to reach the tanker. Below is a note saying "25.6.35, went by yesterday in tow of ten tugs". Contained in a brown photograph album containing sixty three black and white photographs, nearly all labelled, of Cornish wrecks 1890 - 1935.
Provenance
A gift of Miss R.M. Phillips, Penzance, who also gave other nautical memorabilia to the National Trust.
