Summary
A black and white photograph showing S.S. "Maurice Bernard" on the rocks at Kennack, 27 May 1925, before being pulled off by tugs. The photograph has been taken looking out to sea, three flags fly from the rigging and there is a small dinghy on the right of the photograph. Contained in a brown photograph album containing sixty three black and white photographs, nearly all labelled, of Cornish wrecks 1890 - 1935.
Provenance
A gift of Miss R.M. Phillips, Penzance, who also gave other nautical memorabilia to the National Trust.
