Summary
A black and white photograph of the luxury liner "The Paris", which ran onto the Manacles 1899, but was salvaged and taken to a beach near Falmouth for repairs. This photograph shows the tugs towing the ship out to sea. Contained in a brown photograph album containing sixty three black and white photographs, nearly all labelled, of Cornish wrecks 1890 - 1935.
Provenance
A gift of Miss R.M. Phillips, Penzance, who also gave other nautical memorabilia to the National Trust.
