Summary
A black and white photograph of the s.s. "Tripolitania" beached on the Loe Bar, near Porthlevan, Cornwall, during a storm on 26 December 1912. This photograph shows waves breaking over the ship. Contained in a brown photograph album containing sixty three black and white photographs, nearly all labelled, of Cornish wrecks 1890 - 1935.
Provenance
A gift of Miss R.M. Phillips, Penzance, who also gave other nautical memorabilia to the National Trust.
