Summary
A black and white photograph of the four-masted barque," Gunvor", wrecked at Blackhead, Cornwall, having sailed onto the rocks in thick fog. The waves are now breaking over the vessel but the sails are still flying. Contained in a brown photograph album containing sixty three black and white photographs, nearly all labelled, of Cornish wrecks 1890 - 1935.
Provenance
A gift of Miss R.M. Phillips, Penzance, who also gave other nautical memorabilia to the National Trust.
