Summary
A black and white photograph of the four-masted barque," Gunvor", wrecked at Blackhead, Cornwall, 29 May 1913, having sailed onto the rocks in thick fog. All the sails are unfurled and intact. Contained in a brown photograph album containing sixty three black and white photographs, nearly all labelled, of Cornish wrecks 1890 - 1935.
Provenance
A gift of Miss R.M. Phillips, Penzance, who also gave other nautical memorabilia to the National Trust.
