Summary
A black and white photograph of the four-masted barque," Queen Margaret", wrecked at the Lizard, Cornwall, 5 May 1913. The vessel is obviously sinking with the stern completely underwater. The photograph taken from behind the stern of the ship. Photograph taken by Gibson & Sons, Penzance and Scilly Isles. Contained in a brown photograph album containing sixty three black and white photographs, nearly all labelled, of Cornish wrecks 1890 - 1935.
Provenance
A gift of Miss R.M. Phillips, Penzance, who also gave other nautical memorabilia to the National Trust.
