Constance Agar-Robartes, 1890-1936, seated in the driving seat of a large car, its hood folded down, parked outside the closed front door of Lanhydrock House. She wears a coat with fur collar and hat with fur trim. Young man in chauffeur's uniform standing behind bonnet of car, his face reflected in the windscreen. c.1910
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death.
